Tucson, Arizona

Tucson, AZ is a desert town of dreams. I fell head over heels in love with this place and I cannot wait to go back.

I heard that Tucson had a creative culture sprouting up and it did not disappoint. We stayed at the most adorable and well decorated Airbnb (@adobe_libre) in Barrio Viejo. This neighborhood was one of the original urban communities in the late 19th century. Our Airbnb was built in 1880 with adobe architecture that kept it cool during the day and perfect at night. The whole experience in this neighborhood really made Tucson a gem for me.

The Barrio Viejo neighborhood is covered in Adobe homes, colorful desert hue walls and cactus on cactus on cactus. It's literally a dream of a neighborhood.

We went to visit the DeGrazia Gallery in the Sun and it was stunning. It began as a small construction project in the 1950s and is now a 10 acre National Historic District. My favorite part was the church pictured above which is covered in art on the inside.

One of the main reasons we came down to Tucson was to visit the Saguaro National Park. I couldn't believe how many cactus trees there were and just how massive they get. I was in cactus heaven. This park is also free to get in with views in just about every corner.

If you're thinking of visiting Tucson, do it! It will not disappoint. Here are my recs below!
