What: Garden Route Game Lodge Safari

When: Christmas Break 2016

Jeff and I knew we couldn't go to South Africa without going on a Safari. Since we planned this trip on such a short notice (2 weeks before leaving) most of the lodges + safari's were booked. After endless google searches, I found the Garden Route Game Lodge had availability and booked! It was right off of the N2 (Garden Route) and was on our way to J-Bay so it worked out perfect! We stayed in one of the chalet rooms (small perched huts) and had an evening + morning game drive. The park is nothing compared to Kruger National Park, as we kept hearing from everyone who had been there, but it was our first safari and we loved it! I kinda fell in love with Rhino's and Giraffe's but my all time fav are now the Impalas. If you take a look at my instagram feed ... you'll see I'm all about the animals these days.
